O'Laughlin Inc. was
founded in 1950 by Leo O'Laughlin.
Our business started as a trucking business in 1950. In 1959 Leo O'Laughlin and Charles O'Laughlin acquired certain assets from J R Carter Co. and added a Ready-Mix Concrete line. March of 1964 Charles O'Laughlin withdrew from the business and Leo combined both lines. He added the branch at Macon, MO on June 1, 1982 manufacturing Ready-Mix concrete.
In December of 1993 100% of capital stock is owned by Russell O'Laughlin.
Russell O'Laughlin was born 1955 and has been within the company since 1976.
Elizabeth O'Laughlin, Leo's sister, has been within the company since 1991. She became an officer in December of 1993.
Operations:
We provide local trucking without storage, provide manufacturing of Ready-Mix concrete, and have limestone quarries.
We have over 400 accounts, sell to the general public, commercial, and other contractors.
We have a 100 mile radius and over 55 employees.
We have sites in Macon, Shelbina, and Marceline. Our limestone quarry is near Lakenan, MO.
