O'Laughlin Inc. was founded in 1950 by Leo O'Laughlin and started as a trucking business. In 1959, Leo O'Laughlin and Charles O'Laughlin acquired certain assets from J R Carter Co. and added a Ready-Mix Concrete line. In March of 1964, Charles O'Laughlin withdrew from the business and Leo combined both lines. He added the branch location in Macon, MO on June 1, 1982 manufacturing Ready-Mix concrete. Russell O’Laughlin joined the company in 1976 and became the owner of O’Laughlin Inc in 1993.
Today, O'Laughlin Inc. provides local trucking without storage and also provides Ready-Mix concrete in Shelbina, Macon, LaBelle and Marceline, MO. We have over 400 clients from the general public, commercial, and other contractors.
